FACTS WHAT DOES ROCKLAND FEDERAL CREDIT UNION DO WITH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
Why? Financial companies choose how they share your personal information. Federal law gives consumers the right to limit some but not all sharing. Federal law also requires us to tell you how we collect, share, and protect your personal information. Please read this notice carefully to understand what we do.

What we do
How does Rockland Federal Credit Union protect my personal information? To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings.
We also maintain other physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect and limit access to this information.
How does Rockland Federal Credit Union collect my personal information? We collect your personal information, for example, when you
  • Open an account
  • Apply for a loan
  • Make deposits or withdrawals from your account
  • Provide account information
  • Give us your contact information
We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus or other companies.
Why can’t I limit all sharing? Federal law gives you the right to limit only
  • sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes – information about your creditworthiness
  • affiliates from using your information to market to you
  • sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you
State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.
What happens when I limit sharing for an account I hold jointly with someone else? Your choices will apply to everyone on your account unless you tell us otherwise.
Definitions
Affiliates Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies.
  • Rockland Federal Credit Union does not have any affiliates.
Nonaffiliates Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies.
  • Rockland Federal Credit Union does not share information with nonaffiliates so they can market to you.
Joint Marketing A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.
  • Rockland Federal Credit Union does share information in its joint marketing efforts.  You may opt out as provided.
Other Important Information
Our mobile app periodically collects, transmits, and uses geolocation information for enabling features that prevent fraudulent card use and alerts, but only if the End User expressly authorizes collection of such information. Geolocation information can be monitored on a continuous basis in the background while the app is not being used or closed. The End User can change their location permissions at any time in their device settings.

To protect our members’ privacy, we only work with companies that agree to maintain strong confidentiality protection and limit the use of information we provide. We do not permit these companies to sell or further share the information we provide to other third parties.
