What’s New

Welcome to Arise Financial

Rockland Federal Credit Union is now Arise Financial | Effective August 1

On August 1, 2026, Rockland Federal Credit Union officially changed its legal name to Arise Federal Credit Union, doing business as Arise Financial.

We’ll keep this page updated with important announcements, timelines, FAQs, and resources, so you can always know what to expect as we continue rolling out our new brand.

New name, same commitment

While you’ll now see our new name, logo, colors, and visual identity — the credit union you know remains the same.

This is not a merger, acquisition, buyout, or takeover. We remain the same member-owned federal credit union with the same leadership, federal charter, routing number, accounts, and commitment to helping our members achieve greater financial success.

Our new name, Arise Financial, better reflects who we’ve become and where we’re headed while honoring the values that have always guided us.

What you’ll notice

You’ll now see the Arise Financial brand across many of the places you interact with us, including:

  • Online Banking and Mobile Banking
  • Statements and member communications
  • Our website
  • Marketing materials
  • Social media
  • Digital services

You may also notice a few temporary differences as we complete our transition:

Mobile Banking AppWhile we’ve changed our name to Arise Financial, our mobile banking app will continue to appear as Rockland Federal Credit Union in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for now. If you’re downloading our app, simply search for “Rockland Federal Credit Union.” Your login credentials, accounts, and mobile banking experience remain the same. The app name and icon will be updated in a future release.

eStatements & eNotices Email notifications for eStatements and eNotices will now be sent from info@arisefi.org. To ensure you continue receiving important account notifications, add info@arisefi.org to your contacts or safe sender list. If you’re expecting a notification and don’t see it, please check your spam or junk folder.

Some updates are already complete, while others will be introduced over the coming weeks and months. During this transition, you may continue to see both the Rockland Federal Credit Union and Arise Financial names. That’s expected—both names refer to the same credit union.

Our website transition

Our new website is expected to launch later this fall.

In the meantime, you’ll notice Arise Financial branding on our current website as we prepare for the full launch of our new one. You may continue banking online exactly as you do today.

You’ll also begin seeing our new web address, arisefi.org in communications.

Until the new website launches, both arisefi.org and rfcu.com will direct you to our current website.

Stay up to date

We’ll continue using this page to share important milestones throughout our transition, including Brand rollout updates, website launch information, member communications, frequently Asked Questions, and important announcements

If you’re looking for the latest information, this is the best place to start.

Stay connected

We’ll continue communicating important updates as new information becomes available.

To make sure you receive email and mailed communications, please keep your contact information current through Online Banking, Mobile Banking, by visiting a branch, or by calling us at (800) 562-7328.

Arise Financial FAQs

When will the new name become effective?

Our new name officially took effect on August 1, 2026.

You’ll now see the Arise Financial name and brand across many of the places you interact with us. While our appearance has changed, your accounts, services, and day-to-day banking experience will remain the same. Some brand updates will happen immediately, while others will roll out gradually over time.

Do I need to do anything because of the name change?

No. No action is required.

The August 1 name change is automatic and does not require you to update your accounts or take any action. Your accounts will continue to function as they do today, and we’ll continue to communicate upcoming enhancements and new features as they become available.

Are you still a credit union?

Yes. We remain the same member-owned federal credit union with the same leadership, federal charter, values, and commitment to putting our members first.

Your accounts, services, and relationship with us are not changing because of our new name. We will continue operating as a federally insured credit union, and your deposits will remain protected just as they are today.

Were you bought out or acquired?

No. This is not a buyout, acquisition, merger, or takeover.

Our rebrand was an internal strategic decision to better reflect who we are today and where we’re headed. We remain the same member-owned federal credit union with the same leadership, employees, federal charter, and commitment to serving our members. Only our name and logo are changing. Our ownership, mission, and dedication to helping our members achieve financial success remain the same.

Why did Rockland Federal Credit Union change its name?

We changed our name because it better reflects who we are today and the future we’re building.

While we’ve grown beyond our original footprint, we’re still the same credit union, guided by the same values and committed to providing the personalized service our members have always trusted.

The name Arise Financial gives us the flexibility to continue growing and serving our communities for years to come while honoring the legacy we’ve built together.

Why is the name Arise Financial instead of Arise Credit Union?

The name Arise reflects progress, possibility, and forward momentum. It represents our commitment to helping lift people, families, businesses, and communities toward greater financial success.

We chose to do business as Arise Financial because it better reflects the broad range of financial products, services, and expertise we provide while remaining approachable and easy to recognize.

Although you’ll see the Arise Financial brand, our legal name is Arise Federal Credit Union, and we remain the same member-owned federal credit union with the same mission, ownership, and commitment to serving our members.

What about RFCU’s history and legacy?

Our history and legacy remain an important part of who we are.

We’re proud of our Rockland roots and the relationships, trust, and community foundation we’ve built over more than 100 years. We remain headquartered in Rockland and will continue serving the communities that have been at the heart of our organization since the beginning.

Arise Financial represents our next chapter – building on that legacy while continuing to serve our members with the same commitment, values, and purpose that have defined us for generations.

Will anything about my accounts or banking services change?

No. Your accounts will remain the same as well as the products you currently have. Your products, services, account agreements, and terms and conditions are not changing.

Will my account number, member number, or routing number change?

No. Your account number, member number, and our routing number will all remain the same.

Will my direct deposits, automatic payments, Bill Pay, and recurring transfers continue to work?

Yes. Your direct deposits, automatic payments, Bill Pay, scheduled transfers, and other recurring transactions will continue without interruption. You do not need to update your payment information.

Will my cards, checks, and banking services still work?

Yes.

Your current debit cards, credit cards, checks, Online Banking, Mobile Banking, direct deposits, automatic payments, and other banking services will continue to work as they do today. You do not need to take any action.

Updated debit cards, credit cards, and checks featuring the Arise Financial brand will be introduced gradually, typically during normal renewal and replacement cycles. We’ll let you know in advance if anything requires your attention.

Will my rates or loan terms change?

No. Your interest rates, loan terms, payment schedule, and account features will remain the same.

Are my deposits still insured?

Yes. Your deposits remain federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) and additionally insured by the Massachusetts Share Insurance Corporation (MSIC), just as they are today.

Will your branches, phone number, or hours change?

No. You can continue visiting the same branch locations, calling the same phone number, and banking with us just as you do today.

Will I need to sign new paperwork or update anything?

No. The name change is automatic and does not require you to complete new paperwork, update your accounts, or take any action.

How will this affect Online Banking and Mobile Banking?

The August 1 name change will not affect how you access or use Online Banking or Mobile Banking.

You’ll start seeing the Arise Financial name, logo, and brand throughout your digital banking experience, but your login credentials and day-to-day banking experience will remain the same.

Later this fall, we’ll introduce a new digital banking platform. We’ll communicate well in advance of that transition and provide everything you need to know, including clear, step-by-step instructions, to ensure a smooth experience.

Will there be a new website?

Yes. We’ll launch a new Arise Financial website later this fall.

Beginning August 1, you’ll see the Arise Financial name and branding on our current website as we begin the transition. Until the new website launches, both rfcu.com and arisefi.org will take you to our current website, so you can continue banking online just as you do today.

We’ll share updates and everything you need to know before our new website officially launches.

Will Community Credit Union rebrand?

There will be no immediate changes to Community Credit Union’s digital banking, website, accounts, or branches. Members can continue banking as usual.

Following August 1, Community Credit Union will be reflected as “a division of Arise Financial.” A full transition to the Arise Financial name is expected in February 2027. Additional details will be shared closer to that time.

How can I tell if a communication is really from Arise Financial?

We will never ask for your Online Banking username or password, your full debit or credit card number, or a one-time verification code by phone, email, or text.

If you’re ever unsure whether a communication is legitimate, hang up and contact us directly using the phone number listed on our website, the back of your debit or credit card, or by visiting one of our branch locations.

Still Have Questions?

If you have additional questions about our transition to Arise Financial, we’re here to help.

Call us at (800) 562-7328, visit any branch location, or speak with a member of our team. We’ll also continue updating this page with the latest information as we move through our transition.
