Rockland Federal Credit Union’s Pebble Promise Foundation Commits $110,000 to Down Payment Assistance Program at NeighborWorks Housing Solutions – Brockton

BROCKTON, MA – October 28, 2025 – Rockland FCU is proud to announce a $110,000 commitment from its Pebble Promise Foundation to support first-time homebuyers in Brockton. These funds will be distributed through a Down Payment Assistance (DPA) program operated by NeighborWorks Housing Solutions – Brockton, providing financial support to help individuals and families achieve the dream of homeownership.

The Pebble Promise Foundation, established by Rockland FCU, is dedicated to supporting initiatives that promote financial well-being and brighter futures within the communities it serves. This $110,000 grant underscores a shared commitment with NeighborWorks Housing Solutions – Brockton to make homeownership more attainable by addressing one of the most significant barriers for first-time buyers: the down payment.

The funding will provide $2,500 in assistance to each eligible participant, with funds applied directly toward down payment and/or closing costs. Grants will be disbursed at the time of loan closing, ensuring meaningful financial relief during the purchase process.

To qualify, applicants must be first-time homebuyers or have not owned a property in the past three years. Funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are not guaranteed, as program capacity is limited.
