  • How do I enroll in mobile banking?
    • If you have not already done so, please register for Online Banking by completing the registration application. Your application will be reviewed within 1 business day.
  • How do I download the mobile app?
    • You can download the mobile app by visiting the App Store for Apple devices, Google Play for Android devices, or the Amazon App Store for Kindle devices.
  • Do I need a separate login for mobile banking?
    • No, you can use the same credentials that you would use when accessing Online Banking through our website.
  • Can I use the browser on my mobile device to access Online Banking?
    • Yes, you can visit RFCU.com with your browser for a mobile-friendly layout of Online Banking. Please note that DeposZip is not available through the mobile website.
  • What should I do if I lose my mobile phone or tablet?
    • Please contact our Member Service Center for assistance.

 

Text Message Banking

  • How do I enroll in Text Message Banking?
    • Please login to Online Banking on our website, and visit the Mobile Banking & Alerts section under the Additional Services tab. You can add your mobile phone number and then you will receive a one-time activation code with instructions.
  • What is a primary text banking account?
    • Your primary account is the default account that we will use when you text “BAL” to 454545. You should select the account that you will likely want to check the most often.
  • Can I change my primary account selection later?
    • Yes, you can change the primary account at any time by visiting the Mobile Banking & Alerts page of Online Banking.
  • What commands can be used? (image of Commands card)
    • BAL – primary account balance
    • BAL ALL – all account balances
    • BAL CHK – checking account balances
    • BAL SAV – savings account balances
    • LAST – last 5 transactions of primary account
    • TRANS – transfer funds to primary account
    • STOP – deactivate text message banking
    • HELP – help for which commands to use
  • Is a password needed for this service?
    • No, once you have activated the service there is no need for a password.
  • What should I do if I lost my phone?
    • Login to Online Banking and navigate to the Mobile Banking & Alerts page. Click the deactivate link to cancel the service.
  • I have a new mobile phone number. Can I change my number online?
    • Yes, though you will first need to deactivate the service for the previous mobile phone number. Please visit the Mobile Banking & Alerts page through Online Banking.
  • Can I receive alerts for certain account activity?
    • Yes, you can configure alerts on the Mobile Banking & Alerts page of Online Banking. You can setup Low Balance, High Balance, Large Withdrawal, and Large Deposit alerts based on dollar amounts. You can also setup a recurring Balance Update.
